Sunday K9 Campus visit

Its a hot sunday afternoon, me and my two rascal went to K9 campus at turf city for a visit. I have heard quite alot of good feedback from the pet forum about a bakery shop there which make delicious dog food. After a short 15 mins drive, we were there. The place offers all kind of pet services, plus it has a doggy pool. There is also a air-conditioned cafe which dog owner and their pet can enjoy a nice afternoon tea.

Solo Japan Tour

It is the birthday of Singapore and I decided to escape the country. Hehe... what a traitor. My trip was fill with excitment, crazy shopping, trapped and broke.

Just as I though I am out of car debt, my car insurance is in for renewal. I stopped breathing for a while when I saw how much AIG is charging me this year. $2,511 with 20% NCB??? How can it be? I only paid 1.2k last year with 10% NCB. Maybe they do not want my business? Well, after a few emails and phone calls to other insurance company, I decided to sign up for INCOME. For $1,060 with 0 excess, I think this is worth the money.

Its been quite a few weeks since my last update. The seasonal flu has gotten me really sick and took almost two weeks to recover.

Right, this month I have celebrated my birthday... again, for X no.s of time. Though I am not happy for being older, I get to celebrated it with my close friends. A meal, a movie, a cake... its more than enough for me to feel grateful and contented. Here are the gifts I have received:

Ohlala and more Ohlala

After a long tiring process of renovating, moving in and fitting in, its time to pamper myself abit. An old injury on my lower back is taking a toll on my entire body. Frequent migraine occured and couple with gastric discomfort. Its hard to decide whether I should go for chinese accupunture or a massage chair. But in the end, I decide to get a chair instead as it more convenience and cost saving. This is an investment for a pain-free body.

New toy, new wall

I cannot wait till next month to decorate my grey bare wall, its about 4.5 meter long. I though of wall decal, wall paper, street painting...etc. In the end, I bought a 3-piece wall decor clock from Jusco, JB.




It have been many years since I ride a bicycle. Have had a bad accident 10 years back at pulau ubin. This time I have think hard and decided I should also enjoy the park just like my dogs hehe... My perfect bicycle, small, compact and foldable.

Study up!

This month hmmm.... I am able to do up my study. The furnitures are off the shelve and movable. My study desk is a special piece. It is "DESIGNER ITALIAN WHITE MARBLE TABLE" according to its previous owner. I found this table from SingaporeBrides website. I though I should get it as my study desk since I can easily convert it to a real dinning table when my friend comes.

Lazy Sunday Afternoon

Today mark my 2nd week here. What made me like this place so much is the unblock view of the Bishan park and the green serenity surrounding the area. I cannot stop looking out at the window at the trees, birds and bats too!




Elmo & Sammi are able to go to the park to enjoy a good run every weekend. But they aren't a fan of the dog run facility there. They had about an hour run & walk at the park and back sleeping like a pig.

Long awaited TV console is here

My white glossy TV console is finally here. It has been 4 weeks wait since I have ordered it. Shipment delay is what the sale person explain. Well anyway, no matter now unhappy I am, it is here now.

6 hours to fix up the TV, SCV, Home Theater, modem, wireless router and phone line. Its not simple at all when I am are trying my best to hid those ugly wires. Still there are wires sticking around.

Its Official

It has been 1 week since I moved into a place I can call Home. The feeling is fantastic. I have been really busy and tired, it is all worth it!

Most of the things I need are brought and the things I love to have would have to wait. Like study table, book cabinet and living room cabinet. It will be 1 paycheck for 1 item since my bank account has dried up.

Finally the colors on the wall has been repainted. I really love it this time. You can see the before and after effect, it makes a BIG visual different. Also, not to mention the physical pain like stiff neck, aching shoulders and legs plus a hundred dollar poorer to achieve this.

Tired Like a Dog

Last 3 days has been backbreaking-intensive cleaning. Not only for my house, also for my dogs and my car. Both are equally neglected ever since I started planning for renovation. Other then cleaning, I am also busy calling up banks, telcos and other subscription I have to change address.

The BASIN CURSE

All my post over the last two week are on the good things. Now its time to write something on the "not good things" that happened during the renovation. As the title say it. All two basin I brough for my house... cracked.

Toilet Basin

A closer look, there is a fine hairline crack at the top left corner which I find out from my contractor only when they are about to fix it up. Since I have never checked during delivery, the shop owner did not offer to replace the basin but offer to sell me another one at cheaper price. I did not like his offer and I went to another shop to buy a new one.

One week later, one of the worker fixing my kitchen cabinet knocked onto the basin and created two deep crack on both corner. My heart, like my basin crack as well. But luckily for me, they are honest about their mistake and replace back the exact basin.
